At Kolo okusov tastings, which regularly take place in the center of Ljubljana and other historical places in Slovenia, we have put together:
- products with unusual taste, their own history, which can only be found in Slovenia. Most of them you won’t buy in regular stores. They are produced on small farms and sold only in local stores;
- stories and facts about Slovenian products (for example, where the happiest chickens in Slovenia live, how ponies help Slovenian olive oil win medals at international competitions, which Slovenian cheese is instantly delightful or disgusting – and that is not all;
- information on where to buy what you will taste and how to choose an original gastronomic gift from Slovenia.

The Great Slovenian Tasting
Unique Slovenian products (meat, cheese, dairy, honey and oils) that have European PDO, PGI and TSG protection marks, as well as wines from autochthonous grape varieties and wines that have been awarded medals in famous world competitions.
The duration of the tasting is 1.5 hours.

It’s about time we introduced ourselves. We are Lena and Liza, and this is our second year exploring the culture and traditions of Slovenia. We have fallen in love with this country and at tastings we are happy to share our delight with you.
We toured both popular and unknown places, got to the farthest corners, got to know people and way of life in different regions. We have tasted local products in each place and we have chosen the most interesting ones, so that we could discover Slovenia from a new perspective. In our videos you will see the people whose products will be presented to you.

Kolo okusov tasting is
- a delicatessen show composed by two people in love with the country, product stories, impressions for your taste and smell receptors, a pleasant atmosphere, gifts, prizes and contests;
- your impressions and emotions will be shared and multiplied by about 10-15 other like-minded people;
- you will get a list of locations in Slovenia that are worth visiting for the unique products or incredible beauty of places where tourists aren’t stepping on each other’s toes or standing in line for a photo (we don’t argue, Bled is beautiful, but there are many other places worth seeing!)
